Prayer for Semester's End by Mallory E. Land Smith
Our Falter, that art in headspin',
hollowed out be my brain.
Thy knowledge come,
thy essays done,
unearth, as it does in lecture.
Give us this day our daily dread,
and forgive us our group projects,
as we forgive those who slack off against us.
And lead us not into plagiarism,
but deliver us from no chill.
For thine is the extension,
and the curving for the sob story,
this semester's sequester.
